SE POATE

Se Poate Association is a Romanian Youth NGO established in 2014 with activities implemented through non-formal education methods in the field of active citizenship, environement, sport and promoting democratic values for youth beneficiaries.

From 2015, the association is involved in several Erasmus+ KA-1 projects, 2 Erasmus+ Sport and a project that aims at elaborating and promoting an alternative public policy for the insertion of young people into labor market. Also, Se Poate Association developes through a CSR project an initiative that aims to plant 100.000 trees in a rural area at 80 kilometers away from Bucharest.

 The main objectives of the association are:

  • Providing intercultural learning experiences for youngsters through Erasmus+ projects
  • Promoting intercultural understanding, equal opportunities, tolerance and respect among people in the world
  • Helping youngsters in their social and personal development through international projects
  • Supporting social and professional insertion for young people and adults
  • Promoting a healthy information environment through projects dedicated to critical thinking, active citizenship and ways of fighting against fake news and manipulation

 Se Poate Association extended its activities during 2018 and has strong connections with other associations from Bulgaria and France.  In the near future, the association desires to extend its networking area and the composition of its staff and is willing to apply for long-term projects, such as KA-2 Strategic Partnerships, structured dialogue projects, capacity building in the field of youth and sport collaborative partnerships.

 The main fields of action of the association activities are focused on involving youth beneficiaries in taking part of the decision making process, identifying and proposing methods and tools to combat fake news and to contribute at an improvement of media literacy level in society. The members of Se Poate Association are trained in communication, journalism, political sciences and non-formal education methods. These are also the main areas of results and outputs that we look in to achieve in the projects to be submitted at the next deadlines.

 Last, but not least, our association is willing to use its gained experience and to be a partner in all the specified categories of projects developed by different coordinators. For this matter, we are always open to share ideas and contribute in developing concepts of future applications as well as to put our ideas into practice if asked by our partners.

Who they are

  • A Romanian Youth NGO, established in 2014, in IlfovCounty, near Bucharest
  • Active in Erasmus+ Youth Exchange and Sport programs
  • Developing projects in rural or small urban areas
  • Daniel Enăchescu, president: experience working in NGOs, specialized in project and event management, facilitating and coordinating international projects in the fields of non-formal education, an expert in project development and project management.
  • Adrian Călugăru,project manager: Developer and coordinator of several of the Youth Exchange projects and of 1 Erasmus+ Sport projects, trainer and youth worker since 2014, working for 1 year in the Romanian Youth and Sport Ministry for preparation of the Presidency at the Council of EU
  • Georgiana Marcu, projects assistant: experienced in non-formal education, active citizenship and participation, youth policies, volunteering, media, environment, human rights and youth work
  • Se Poate Association promotes volunteering and has up to 20 volunteers engaged in the events organized by the association
