Their philosophy is to use the power of sport and exercise together to make Drenthe a better place. This unique, extensive collaboration between all Drenthe municipalities and the province of Drenthe has grown since 2009 into an extensive network with unifying power, an integrated vision and structure.
Sport and exercise are essential: they use the power of sport and exercise in the broad social domain and as a reinforcement of the leisure economy in particular. This leads their actions in the fields of health, participation and economy.
