Triple Jump Event

FieldLab Eindhoven, The Netherlands

The Triple Jump Event marks the end of the Profit project and is an excellent opportunity to meet individuals and representatives of (local) governements, (public and semi-public) organisations, knowledge institutions and companies that have been involved in establishing international cooperation in sports innovation within the European Union. And to be involved in the next phase, the Jump towards 2020.

  • Hop (2008) Creating networks like EPSI and the project ProFit.
  • Step (2014) Setting up FieldLabs and practice international cooperation.
  • Jump (2020) Extend and expand the ideas and contacts into the future.

The Triple Jump Event will feature keynote addresses – among others – of Steve Haake (professor and director of the
Centre for Sports Engineering Research at Sheffield Hallam University, UK) and Steven Vos (associate professor at the
School of Sports Studies (Fontys, Eindhoven, The Netherlands)).

But above all through interactive workshops participants will celebrate results, discuss lessons learned, talk about
network added value, and share views on future opportinities for international cooperation, for example through
EU-projects.

The Triple Jump Event is the final conference for the ProFit project, funded by the European Union under the Interreg
IVB North West Europe program. EPSI member Sports and Technology is the lead partner for the Profit project. Also other EPSI members as Howest, TU Delft and Ulster University are part of the Profit consortium.
