EPSI webinar analysed the current and future situation of the sport ecosystem with many experts from different sectors (scroll the article for the webinar presentations)

The sport sector, including those who have dedicated their lives and often businesses to promoting health through physical activity, is profoundly worried about the wellbeing of people affected by the pandemic outbreak,that has affected the EU in a sudden and dramatic manner.

That’s why the European Platform for Sport Innovation, in cooperation with ClusSport, Inno4Sports and SmartSports4GoodLife, organised a special two-hour webinar in order to analyse the current crisis and how sport and institution are reacting to these new outcoming challenges related to COVID19 outbreak.

More than 100 people attended the online event, hosted by EPSI Executive Directors Alberto Bichi and Rene Wijlens, who supported a high-level panel of speakers across different topics and areas: Dieter Hagleitner (Intersport), Steve Haake (Sheffield Hallam University), Oriol Serra (Indescat), Nathalie Saint-Marcel (Cluster Montagne), Kathleen D’Hondt (H2020 SAPHIRe), Nikos Pantalos (EU Commission) and Marc Pattinson (Reconfirm/InnoTSD).
