The European Platform for Sports Innovation (EPSI) and One-Zero Summit have signed a Memorandum of Intent to maximize their efforts to boost innovation in the sports industry.

Both organizations have decided to work together to support their mutual efforts to boost innovation which addresses the evolution of the sports sector. By signing a Memorandum of Understanding, both EPSI and One-Zero Summit confirm that they will work together sharing knowledge, and resources and collaborating to address challenges related to innovation in sports and increase engagement in sports and a healthy lifestyle, while delivering positive socio-economic impact.

The partnership

The roadmap of EPSI and One-Zero Summit collaboration includes mutual support for the most recent One-Zero Summit which will take place in Ireland at the end of March and feature key-note speakers from all over the world and for the upcoming EPSI annual event that will take place in Ponta Delgada, Azores (Portugal) at the beginning of June. By joining their efforts, both organizations can bring together a huge pool of top sports innovators from Europe and beyond and support them in gaining new knowledge, and ideas and on expanding their networks.

Sport is a growing factor in Europe’s economy and society. It has a broad socio-economic impact and, with the joint efforts of EPSI and One-Zero Summit, sports innovation can thrive, helping the sports industry evolve, develop and bring huge benefits to all people citizens within the EU and beyond.

About One-Zero Summit

One-Zero was founded in 2016 and held its first event in the RDS in Dublin the same year. The event showcased a growing industry to a fascinated clientele. The following years led to the growth of the conference annually, attracting interest from EMEA and US-based multinationals. Previous partners include Microsoft, Paddy Power, AIG, Sky, Three, Nike, DAZN, NHL, Bleacher Report, and many more. In 2023, One-Zero Summit will once again return to Ireland (both in Dublin and Limerick) but also make a comeback to the USA with the upcoming event in Indianapolis in August this year.
