Volans Kids wins the Dutch Sports Innovation Award 2014
Volanskids, the recently launched of Dutch company Volans Rowing was awarded the Dutch Sports Innovation Award 2014.
Volanskids is a unique single scull rowing boat that is especially designed for children aged 8 to 12 years. This new boat makes it easy to learn rowing skills in a playful way and makes the sport accessible for a wider audience. In the development of Volanskids Volans Rowing collaborated with the Royal Dutch Rowing Federation (KNRB), top-universities and specialised companies. The award was presented at the 11th Dutch Sports Innovation Conference on October 9th 2014 in Eindhoven the Netherlands.
