European Platform for Swimming Participation

The European Platform for Swimming Participation is the leading collaborative platform for the European swimming community. Developed to create an online hub where professionals can effectively share knowledge, access critical applications and relevant data to improve aquatic knowledge.

Fueled by a growing community of like-minded individuals continuously building upon years of previous research and patented technological innovation, EPSP backed by EPSI (The European Platform for Sports Innovation), is determined to change the way European swimming professionals interact and share knowledge amongst each other to help solve major challenges faced by the swimming community. Through evidence-based learning and field-lab approaches, we hope to collect information about learning to swim and aquatic literacy for a safe and enjoyable lifelong aquatic participation. Through these practices, it will inspire individuals (professionals and volunteers) as well as organisations that are passionate about increasing quality in swimming participation, instruction and policy. The platform will also act as a base for multiple Erasmus+ projects with connections to the aquatic world. The platform is headquartered in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, with research partners in multiple European cities.
