if you are interested in attending, please do not hesitate to contact us.
FULL AGENDA OF THE EVENT WILL BE AVAILABLE SOON
Since the Treaty of Lisbon, through the Article 165 TFEU, sport has entered in the European Union's supporting competences.
From that moment, thanks through lobbying activities of relevant sport stekeholders, like EPSI, sport topics have been included in the EU political agendas. In 2014, the EU created special funds dedicated to sport under a specific chapter of the Erasmus+ Programme, but that's not all.
Sport is not only health and physical activity: it has different dimensions. It has an increasing economic impact, it has the power to overtake diversities and helps integrating people coming from different background and culture.
As EPSI is experiencing thanks to the expertise in various EU Programmes, sport can be included - directly and indirectly - in different projects. Not only under a specific sport chapter, but also through other programmes like Horizon 2020, COSME and LIFE.
The event attendance costs 250€ and everybody can register through this link.
EPSI Members can register with a 78% discount (55€) through the Registration Link sent in our periodic "EPSI Updates".
Each ticket will give pass to all the event services: the roundtable with the EU Programme Consultants and the match-making sessions with possible partners.
We invite all participants to send us concept notes of projects' ideas, in order to let our staff prepare the round-tables.
Year by year, the EU co-funding programmes are increasing the amount of money allocated in sport projects. Through lobbying activities by European sport stakeholders sport is gaining importance of these topics into their political agendas. Clear examples are EPSI activities, whose efforts contributed, among others, to the EU Commissions' signatures to the "Tartu Call for Healthy Lifestyle".
Through our brokerage event, EPSI and their Consultants will guide in you in finding the right solutions to implement your idea into a projects and help you in seeking the right partners to submit your idea to the European Union to make it real.
Even the choiche of the date of the event, 29th January, was chosen for a reason, since on 30th January, the EU Commission is organising the annual Erasmus+ Sport Info Day, where sport stakeholders can meet to receive info about the EU Programme. So, if you are planning to come to Brussels for that event, Sport Project Lab 2020 is the right occasion to find your partners in advance.
