Building Innovative Governance for Sports
BIG4SPORTS aims at connecting funding sources (public and private) with sports organisations to jointly develop new and innovative collaboration schemes in Good Governance for sport.
Following the guiding concepts of democracy, transparency, accountability and stakeholder representation, BIG4SPORTS will reinforce the capacities of sport organisations to get acquainted and adopt the requisites and best practices in terms of GG and Financial Integrity aligned with the sport’s industry best practices, to grant an easier access to private funding for sport activities – following the same arguments growingly being adopted by public authorities.
The objective of the project is to strengthen GG capacities of sport organisations fruit of their collaboration with public and private sponsors, achieving long-lasting cooperation between them.
More than 30 participants were present in EPSI General Assembly, taking place this afternoon in Brussels. EPSI members gathered to talk about the activities that were done in the last months and to draw the guidelines for future.
