The Ocean Race, one of the longest and toughest professional sailing events in the world created in 1998, is coming to its Grand Finale in Genova in the upcoming days. For this occasion, EPSI will be there on the 29th and 30th of June to present innovative strategies in sports business attending the parallel event “B2B Ocean Race 2023”, organised within the Enterprise European Network Sport Itinerary 2023 which is dedicated to meeting enterprises and organisations surrounded by an international environment.
The “B2B Ocean Race 2023“, hosted by the Genoa Ocean Race Village and part of the EEN Sport Itinerary 2023, is a match-making event for public and private stakeholders such as companies (both buyers and suppliers) and organizations from all over Europe involved in the sports field and related economic sectors.
In this perspective of internationalisation, EPSI will bring the European dimension of sports innovation in order to compare it with the national and regional ones. The Open Talk session with Wylab2 will be the occasion to showcase how its know-how in business creation by supporting and facilitating connections and developing strategic agendas.
In the same way, project proposals can be developed during the workshop “European Funds and Opportunities for Collaboration amongst SMEs and other stakeholders”, coordinated by the Genoa Chamber of Commerce and EEN ALPS. In this regard, EPSI will illustrate different European Union funding calls, projects, activities and programmes of the last years.
Recognizing the power of sport as a catalyst for innovation, EPSI supports the EEN Sports Itinerary 2023 and the linked “B2B Ocean Race 2023” promoting new projects and collaborations. World-renowned events like “The Ocean Race” are the driving force for the sports sector toward a more inclusive, accessible and sustainable future.
