More than 30 participants were present in EPSI General Assembly this afternoon in Brussels. Waiting for the tomorrow Annual Conference, EPSI members gathered to talk about the activities that were done in the last months of cooperative work and to draw the guidelines for future.
Alberto Bichi and Rene Wijlens hosted the event. “General Assembly is a great occasion to meet and exchanging ideas – said Mr. Wijlens in his welcome speech – and that0s why we are glad to have you all here”.
Alberto Bichi went on talking about the results recently achieved by EPSI, like the creation of a new office in the House of Sport (Rue Joseph II, 40 – Brussels) and the revised bylaws of our Association. Moreover, Mr. Bichi welcomed the new members of the network, like ACES Europe, with Hugo Alonso attendee of the assembly.
After the first speeches, with an interactive session about the importance of increasing match-making and business opportunities, the stage was given to Rosa Lopez, from AITEX, who explained the Spanish EPSI member’s efforts in the field of sport and innovation.
After that session, EPSI Projects became the key-topic, with descriptions of the activities in development. Froso Christofides from EFC talked about HEMA Project, while Rene Wijlens explained the nature of Inno4Sports and ClusSport network.
Then, Mr. Bichi started the analysis about the next steps to do by our network, focusing on the three pillars of EPSI: lobbying, fundraising and business creation.
The final topics (communication plan, new bylaws and financial plan), led the way towards the end of the Assembly, who revealed itself a great opportunity for receiving information about new updates and for networking, preparing the path for future sport innovation together.
