The European Platform for Sport Innovation (hereafter ‘EPSI’) respects the privacy of all individuals who use our services and are part of our network. This privacy statement explains the definition of personal data, the types of data that EPSI collects, the reasons for collecting it, how long we retain the data, and your rights regarding data collection in accordance with the GDPR policy.

Collection and processing of personal data
The EPSI collects and processes your personal data for the execution of our mutual agreement, to inform you about our services, and to comply with any legal obligation. In addition, the EPSI collects your personal data to answer any questions and/or requests made by you.

- Name, Address, Residence, Telephone number, Email from the data subject;
- Name, Address, Residence, Telephone number, Email from company / organization
- IBAN info;
- Nationality.
Information we automatically receive:
- Contact Form;
- Application form for membership;
- Information from the website.
With whom do we share personal data?
For the execution of the services of our organization, the EPSI shares (part of) your personal data with third-party companies and individuals (our “agents”) to facilitate our Services, to provide the Services on our behalf, to perform Service-related services and/or to assist us in analyzing how our Services are used. Examples may include processing and storing data, delivering messages, processing credit card payments, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, supplementing the information you provide us in order to provide you with better service, and providing customer service. These third parties have access to your Personal Information only to perform specific tasks on our behalf and are underwritten obligation not to disclose or use your Personal Information for any purpose other than those disclosed in this Privacy Policy. Notwithstanding any legal and contractual obligations between our agents and us, we remain potentially liable for any misuse of your Personal Information.
In addition to sharing information with these parties, the law may oblige the EPSI to share information with Tax Authorities, with Justice, in the context of legal proceedings, or with other government agencies.
We do not share your personal data with parties outside the European Economic Area.
Storing personal data
The EPSI does not store your personal data longer than strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your personal data is collected and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Cookies and/or other similar technique
We use cookies to gather information about your computer for our services and to provide statistical information regarding the use of our Website. Such information will not identify you personally – it is statistical data about our visitors and their use of the website.
All computers have the ability to decline cookies. This can be done by activating the setting on your browser which enables you to decline the cookies. It should be noted however that cookies play an important role in the usability of the internet; deactivating them might worsen your browsing experience. Alternatively, you can also delete cookies from your browser at any time.
We use Google Analytics to keep track of how users are using the website. The information thus obtained, including the truncated address of your equipment (IP address), is transferred to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Read Google’s privacy policy for more information. You will also find the privacy policy of Google Analytics here. Google uses this information to keep track of how our website is used, to provide reports about the Website to the EPSI, and to provide its advertisers with information about the effectiveness of their campaigns. Google can provide this information to third parties if Google is legally obliged to do so, or insofar as these third parties process the information on behalf of Google. The EPSI has no influence on this. We have not given Google permission to use Analytics data obtained for other Google services.
Rights of data subjects
You have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

If the EPSI processes your personal data because you have given permission to do so, you can withdraw that permission at any time. To exercise your rights, you can submit a request by sending an email to info@epsi.eu.
To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we might ask you to send a copy of your ID attached to the request. In this copy, hide your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone; the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number, and citizen service number (BSN) by blocking this information out in black. This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but no later than a month. Immediately, after your request has been processed, we will destroy the received copy of your identity document.
The EPSI cannot approve your request in the following cases:
- if the request is unfounded
- if it concerns a request that we are legally not required to comply with
- if the EPSI needs your personal data for the execution of the agreement the EPSI has with you
- if the EPSI has a legitimate interest in processing the data.
Automatic processing
The EPSI does not make decisions based on automated processing on matters that can have (significant) consequences for you.
Security
The EPSI takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. We require third parties that handle or process your personal data for the EPSI, to do the same. Access to your personal data is limited and is only allowed to our employees and parties on a “need-to-know” basis. The EPSI security measures are continuously improved in accordance with the latest security standards. If you feel that your personal data is not properly secured or if there are indications of misuse, please contact the EPSI at info@epsi.eu.

Amendments
The EPSI has the right to make changes to this privacy statement. We do not need to inform you in advance. If the EPSI makes corrections, you will be notified through our website.
